It's another lovely Monday and I have to say some sad news... I am currently retiring the blog feature "French Macaron Monday" I know, it's sad, but it feels like lately it's been a bit repetitive and it would be nice to freshen these things up a little bit with perhaps a new feature soon.

Send Something Good - a little info about moi

I am so excited to be a part of the send something good swap over at gentri's blog! It's one of my first and I have to admit-- it's thrilling- the idea of sending something to someone anonymously (that is, until they get their package) and I can't wait to see who has me!

A few random facts about me:

1. I love craft kits and how-to books. They're my absolute favorites.
2. My favorite snack in the whole wide world is Hot Cheetos. I just love em' and never get tired of them.
** Fun fact: I've been eating them since I was five
3. What girl doesn't love bags? I really like cute little clutches like this one.
4. I'm a vintage camera lover-- I just adore them!
5. My favorite TV shows right now are Modern Family, The Middle, and Once Upon a Time.
6. Light pink, yellow, baby blue, white, and grey are my favorite colors.
7. I'm obsessed with buying stuff off of Etsy. Must--resist--

French Macaron Monday & a little announcement

Woohoo! It's Monday! Okay, I'll stop cheering now explain why I'm so excited (after all, I'm never excited about it being Monday) First of all, I'm in a swap over at Gentri Lee's blog and today we're getting assigned partners-- I've been waiting for this day to come for a while now and have been counting down the days. NOTD (Nails Of The Day) : a little metallic sparkle

Here's the new feature we've been waiting for: NOTD aka Nails Of The Day
(Sorry if it sounds a bit cheesy!)

This week, I got into my "nail self" and did a french manicure with a twist. A metallic twist that is! I basically went simplistic, painted my nails with a clear coat, and then added a little silver french manicure. Which nail polish did I use you ask? Actually, I used OPI's "Sparkle" for the metallic. It looks the way glitter nail polish should look- not to mention oh-so-shiny...

Received: Wild Olive stitch swap package!

 I received my Wild Olive Stitch swap piece Saturday and couldn't be happier with my little package! Lovely miss Elizabeth was the sender of these amazing goodies and I just LOVE the hoop! It's so me and I can't use words to express the joy I had the moment I opened the package. The detail is exquisite and I'm going to hang it where I can see it daily. The garland is an amazing handmade decoration that I've hung in my little "blogging corner" and it makes me happy every time I see it...

I was so happy at the outcome of the blogging buddies inquiry, and am announcing the official sign-ups and rules here! If you are interested but didn't see the previous post, no worries, you can still join! Sign-ups end next week and you can sign up here

Here are the rules for the swap:

- There is one small assignment each week in this swap (they don't take long and are fun-- no worries!) Please understand that your swap partner is counting on you, so please make sure to complete each one.
- Sign-ups end next Thursday, the 12th

 Hello lovelies! Today I'm doing a little blogging game that's been going around, 11 things, and was tagged by miss Lauryn. I've been wanting to do this post "game" for a while now, and can't wait for you to read it!

Here are the questions she's asked:

1. What's been your most rebellious moment?
I'm not exactly sure... I'm not really a rebel "type", and can't seem to think of anything really rebellious of done lately.

2. What would be your dream job?
I'd love to be a full-time blogger! I've seen a lot of successful ones and dream of becoming of them, but for now, I'm working up to that dream.

3. Do you own a favorite clothing item? Describe it.
I have this really cute shirt from Hollister that's a light beige with cream-colored ruffles. It's one of my favorites!

4. What is your favorite perfume/lotion scent?
I love tropical scents and light florals. I really like Honeysuckle, Harajuku Lovers, and Orange Blossom.

5. If you had to listen to the same song over and over, what would it be?
I could easily listen to Adele's song "Someone like You" all day....

6. If you could pick a character from any movie/story/book, etc. who would it be?
Katniss from The Hunger Games book series. Hands down, one of the best characters.

7. What's the craziest thing you've ever eaten?
Cow-tongue. In a burrito. It sounds gross, but it's really good. It's like really soft beef. Trust me, it's a must-try! So delicious, I order it every time.

8. What's your favorite life adventure so far?
Probably going on a snow trip with my family. It was a lot of fun and full of lots of great memories!

9. Where is your favorite place to go shopping?
I really love Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters. Their items are so unique and I love their jewelry. I could spend all my money their so easily-- who couldn't? :)

10. Would you rather have cake, ice cream, or both?
I'm definitely more of an ice-cream gal! I crave it all year round!

11. Do you have a life aspiration? What is it?
I'd love to be able to do what I'd like to accomplish in life and do it well. That's my main goal. (Not to sound too serious or anything)

Happy Monday lovelies! It's been a busy weekend for me and I finally shipped out my stitch swap piece. This week is probably going to be a mellow one, but I do have a few things to get done

2. Paint nails
3. Send out newsletter
