Nails, Nails, and more Nails...

My latest "phase" lately has been painting my nails. I've tried free-hand painting, dry marble, and water marbling. It's fun to see all the awesome effects on my nails and I love getting compliments on them! :)

Cake Pops. These delectable treats make me want to eat them up in one bite! And although I love these little desserts, there are those people that groan when they think of a $3 a pop.

(no pun intended) 

So this post dedicated to those people and cake pop lovers alike. To lower the price and enjoy these all the same, the easiest thing to do is to make them yourself. That way you can decide what flavor you want and add your frosting and sprinkles... (basically anything you want)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

 It's the time of year to be grateful for what you have and give thanks, so I put together a small list of things I'm grateful for. :)

Chocolate Macaron

 I'm in city today and enjoying the pretty scenery... and this deliciously big chocolate french macaroon*. It's the best I've ever had- sweet, chewy, and overall a 5 out of 5 stars.

1. What would you consider your main source of inspiration?

I get inspired by anything cool, cute or different and in odd places like the hardware store. I don’t think I have any one specific style I make things depending on my mood.


2. Who (or what) influenced you to make your items?
I stared making resin as a hobby and as gifts last Christmas.


3. What was your favorite craft project when you were little?

I didn’t have any one favorite craft as a child; anything that had to do with arts or crafts was always fun for me. As a teen I did love making papier-mâché masks. 


4. The most treasured item you own (your grandmother's plate, a pair of mittens you made, etc.) 

My pictures, especially the ones of my daughters and wedding. 


5. (Random Question) What do you prefer? Chocolate or Vanilla?

I don't like chocolate...

Eat: Parfait

This delectably light dessert is perfect for making with kids or for that quick midday snack... so 

 I created a simple Do-It-Yourself recipe for you to enjoy!

To create that perfect (and healthy) parfait, use these 2 main ingredients:

- Your choice of fruit

   - Yogurt (any flavor you want!)

Make sure to have a glass container to put your parfait in!

You could also include other fun food like granola, mint, and cookie crumbs.

Here's 4 simple steps to create a simple parfait:

                                              Step 1: Add your first layer of fruit.

                                             Step 2: Add your yogurt.

                                            Step 3: Add your second layer of fruit.

                                            Step 4: Top off your parfait with yogurt and a piece of fruit.

That's it! There is no wrong way to make a parfait!
