Today's Ramblings: Blog Design

I love designing things. Rooms in a dollhouse, the way my desk looks (which I'm typing at right now), and yes, even my wrapping paper! But for the life of me, I can't seem to design anything via HTML. Therefore, I can't design much on Photoshop or on my blog- which bugs me since I'm pretty tired of my blog design right now. So I'm going to have a bit of a blog makeover come this January! Lovely miss Annabel from Fragmented Splendour is giving my blog a new look and it's going to look amazing. :)

French Macaron Monday

Hello again! It's the day after Christmas and a bit of that "holiday magic" is still lingering.

I'm sure we're all tired from the festivities and today's a day to just take a break and rest. 

The tree is all un-decorated and put away (we have a fake tree) and all of the wrapping paper is in the recycling or in my scrap paper box. And yes, right now I'm craving some macarons. :)

A Day in the Renegade Craft Fair

Yesterday I took a trip to the Renegade Craft Fair and it was awe-inspiring. There were a lot of artisans and it definitely was packed with people! It took me about 2 hours just to look at all the booths, and trust me, there was a lot to admire. It was also really sunny in SF, which was surprised me since it was freezing in July. I also brought my camera and took some pictures. Here's a peek at my day:

I headed over to this booth and took a bit of space just looking at all the little terrariums.

Then I headed over and loved these necklaces at the Topiary booth. I especially liked

the blue one. (far right, 2nd row)

1 bird... 2 bird... I like them all! :)

Anyway, that's a little bit of what I did yesterday... Here's what I ended up buying:

2. A pretty ring from Sora Designs

3. Chai Town Perfume from bunnybuttapothecary. I'm a big fan of their stuff! :)

SF Renegade Craft Fair

I'm going to the SF Renegade Craft Fair today! I absolutely love going to these, and excited to see all the talented artisans there. The last one I went to was in July, and I've been counting the days 'til the next one. (I'm a bit of a fan, if you haven't noticed before) It'll be great to be in the City again and I hope it won't be too cold! I'll show you some pictures of the fair tomorrow along with a few purchases...

Drawing on Rocks? No way.

These beautifully hand-drawn patterns on rocks were done by Yoran Morvant 

and I have to admit- I'm pretty awestruck by them. I mean, who wouldn't be?
