These pencils are so pretty and quick to make! I can't believe I didn't think of this before... I think I'm going to wrap a few pencils soon!

Pudge the Cat
I've just discovered Pudge and I have to say -- I'm in love! This cat is just too darn cute -- his little face is to die for.

Flower Tunnel 
This tunnel blooming with flowers looks like it came straight out of a fairytale. So breathtaking and lush, I can only imagine how good it smells under the giant canopy. If only I could take a trip to Japan just now...

This year, I want to create the best Friday Favorites ever. Yes, it's a bit too much to hope for, but a girl can dream right? I hope this week is off to a good start!

Winter Nail Colors
Although winter's pretty much halfway over, I just love looking at this year's polish picks over at Lauren's blog. The colors this season are so pretty and classy, and I have yet to try the red, silver, gold and navy (yes, I've only tried the pink so far).

I saw this photo over at Pinterest and fell head-over-heels with the way the black and white look in this photo. It's kinda mesmerizing.

At first glance (as in a 2-second glance from far away), when I saw this, I was a bit skeptical, thinking "this couldn't be more false -- how stereotypical" but as I leaned in closer to my computer screen to read it and check it out, I was laughing out loud! This couldn't be more true for me! The whole blogger "diagram" is so me.

Friday Favorites

It's hard to believe Christmas was only Tuesday! It seems like such a long time ago that I was putting up the tree, wrapping presents, getting together with family, and then enjoying Christmas day. This week has whizzed by and I honestly feel like I've gotten a lot done here at the blog; getting it back on track with everyday posting. Oh, I know I haven't done a "Friday Favorites'' feature in quite a while (well, not any good ones anyway) so today I hope I can make up for it a bit...

Fancy Grilled Cheese Party
This is one of the best ideas I've found to date! I can't believe I haven't thought of it before. Basically; put out a fun bread selection, different cheeses, and different toppings that would go well with grilled cheese. Amazing right? See how it all came together here. I know what I'm doing next weekend, that's for sure.

Make your own pom-pom bookmark

Pom poms + bookmarks = one of my favorite combos! So cute and just a bit quirky, I truly adore this project. (Sorry if the top image of the bookmarks looks a bit squished-- it's not supposed to look like that --  I don't know why it does) Steps to create the project can be found here.
