I'll admit it -- I've been a bad blogger. I've promised you all a summer's worth of exciting posts and content, and yet I've only posted 2 posts this whole month.
Two. It's kind of pathetic and I really have no excuse for it. Blogging has taken a backseat in my life lately as I put my focus into other things and slowly my little blogging spark died out waiting to be re lit, which is my current goal as of now. I'm going to be honest here: I'm not sure whether or not I'd like to pursue blogging. If I were to continue, I want it to be because I really want to do it and because it's a passion of mine. I don't want any half-hearted attempts like the ones I've put up these past few months. I'm going to give blogging another shot and continue posting a few more months before I make my final decision whether I will stay in the blogosphere or not.
I'd like to make it clear that I love blogging and its something I really enjoy. But I just don't think it's fair to post so scarcely and have you all waiting. I feel like I've been juggling more than I can handle right now and it's all kind of up in the air: my etsy shop, my blog, both or none. Which to choose -- or balance both?
Life is full of hard decisions and soon I must choose one. As of the moment, I will continue to stay here in my little corner of the internet :)
Thanks for listening to all my ramblings. Its nice to get that off my chest and out there in the open.
xoxo,
Nat
Who says you have to do it either full time or not at all. You could always post a little message in your sidebar that says "I won't blog a lot, but you can follow me anyway and I hope you'll just enjoy the occasional post whenever I happen to feel like it". Anyway, whatever you decide to do I hope it makes you happy. I understand what you mean, blogging is awesome, but so is real life, right?
ReplyDeleteLovely, you're being more than fair. This is, above all, YOUR space. If you want to post once a month, or once a year, or every single day, every single month... do so. Do what feels right, and what does NOT stress you out. :) We're still here!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Angie, this is YOUR space and you can post as much or as little as you want and you shouldn't feel pressure for it. I've been scarcely posting, but then I'll go through bouts where I will have posts scheduled every day. Blogging can be tough, especially when it comes to keeping up with posting on a normal basis. I usually try to queue up a few posts on my day off, but sometimes that doesn't even happen!

Aw Nat, don't feel pressured. Just take your time and focus on what makes you happy (and those around you, too!) feel free to keep in touch via email too, if the whole writing a blog post is too much, I always like to hear from you!

This is your blog and you don't owe anyone anything! Try not to feel pressured. Do what you need to do and what's important FIRST. :)
