I can always look forward to a laid back weekend as a blank slate. This weekend I was super determined to get a lot done, but alas, the more I put on my plate, the less I tend to actually finish. But I did get a few bloggy-blog things done! (Top-secret projects of course). I painted my nails, snapped some pictures, tried out a new bun hairstyle, and made a sad attempt at making french macarons. I also caught up on blog reading, did some art journaling, and took a small day trip (which of course, I forgot to take pictures of. Sorry!) Oh, and I also did I little updating in my etsy shop, which I happened to re-open.
How was your weekend?
xoxo, Nat

Oh I love the idea of the Julep swatches, but the ones that come with the swatch sticker on top, well, it seemed weird to me because how in the world am I supposed to paint that with the brush that's embedded in the lid! annoyed me a bit! And those smore macarons look so good
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a lovely weekend! I agree, sometimes when I put too much on my list I get less done. I also love trying out new hairstyles over the weekend :)
ReplyDeleteI love having weekends where I am not busy, or if I am busy I always try to keep my evenings free so I can curl up in a blanket and pretend I don't have to get up on Monday :') ♥
ReplyDeleteSounds like it was a fun and restful weekend! Thanks for sharing! Xo, M&K at brewedtogether.com
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way! Weekends are my only full days to get things done, yet I seem to stack up too much and end up with an even longer list for the following weekend! Ooops! Loving your blog!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful weekend! Reminds me not to waste so much time on my days off, haha. Thank you for sharing! :)
