I thought I'd give you a few blogging tips and figured I'd start with getting to know your readers and listening to them.
I know what you're thinking -- listening to my readers? Isn't that what you're advised against? Well, yes and no. Yes because you want to hear from your readers and read their thoughtful, kind comments. You want to engage your readers in your blog. Reply back to their comments, and visit their blogs. It's amazing knowing that you commented on your favorite blogger's blog and got a reply back!
No, because sometimes you can get some negative comments and that is never a good thing (hey, it happens) Or you could have readers that want to change the way you blog. That should never ever influence your blogging or the way you blog. Use the easy way out and delete that mean comment and continue on your way. It'll pass :)

ReplyDeleteI try to always reply to comments left on my blog. Now as far as reading/commenting on others blogs, I do that to but I have to take those in small sections as I follow a lot of blogs!
